The main site is written in Ruby on Rails, with Bootstrap for the frontend, and hosted on Heroku. However, we're about 70% done our new mobile app written in React Native, and we're getting ready to start replacing parts of the site with React components. The long term goal is to replace as much of the current frontend as possible with React.
As a developer you'll get public attribution on the website, lifetime supporter status and perks, a fancy new dev badge, and the thanks of thousands of your fellow users. The features you build will be immediately available and will help thousands of users have more fun and make new friends. Someone on reddit may even tell you you're awesome at some point. We're also providing compensation for your time, based off your experience and how many kickass new features you can add.
Right now we're looking for roughly 10 hours of help a week. If things go well and users like what you build, we'd plan on increasing this.
