The Division 2 on The100 right now: 2 sessions scheduled in the last 30 days and 8 groups active in the last 30 days.

The Division 2 has a working in-game clan system: clan experience, weekly clan caches, clan cosmetics, and a roster of up to fifty agents. What it does not tell you is whether those fifty people play at your hour, on your platform, and want the same endgame you do. That is the part worth choosing carefully, because a clan in this game is mostly how people put together the eight-player raid that matchmaking will not build for them.

A clan on the100 is the same idea with the missing details written down: platform, timezone, what the group plays, and sessions with a start time that members can join. Groups can also post their sessions straight into their Discord server through the100's bot.

How clans work in The Division 2

The clan menu is locked at first. You open it by upgrading the Theater Settlement to Stage 3 and recruiting Grace Larson; after that she stands in the Base of Operations, where you can search for a clan, create one, and read your clan inbox. The same menu is under "Clan" in the pause menu.

Membership pays out through clan activities: clan experience, weekly caches, and clan cosmetics. Raids add a status reward on top. When Operation Dark Hours launched, Ubisoft tied a Clan Room trophy and a Clan Banner icon to clearing it with a group in which every one of the eight players belonged to the same clan — so a clan that raids together has something to show for it.

The cap is fifty members. Ubisoft has said it will rise to one hundred when cross-platform play arrives.

How to pick a Division 2 clan

Platform first. Until console crossplay ships, a clan is effectively tied to one platform family: Ubisoft's own crossplay announcement says clans will be migrated so that agents from different platforms can join the same clan, which is another way of saying they cannot today. PC is the exception — Steam, Epic and Ubisoft Connect players already matchmake and share progression with each other, so a PC clan does not care which launcher you bought it on.

Then decide whether you want a raid clan. Raids are eight players, and when Ubisoft added raid matchmaking it limited it to the easier Discovery difficulty, so Normal needs a pre-made group. A clan that runs Normal raids exists to get eight people into the same place at the same time, every week, and the questions to ask are practical: which night, how often, and whether they run teaching clears for people who have not seen the encounters.

A casual PvE clan is a different thing and just as legitimate. Summit, Descent and Countdown all matchmake, so what you want from that clan is three people who are on when you are, plus the weekly clan caches. A PvP-leaning clan cares about Conflict and the Dark Zone, where a group that watches its own extraction beats four strangers every time.

Timezone matters more than size. A fifty-member clan with eight people on at your hour is the one you want; a full roster that is mostly asleep when you play is not. Ask how many members were on last week, not how many are listed.

Finally, ask where the clan organizes. In practice raid sign-ups, build advice and "anyone on?" messages tend to live on a Discord server rather than in the in-game inbox, so look at the server's raid channel before you join — a channel full of dated sign-ups tells you more than any recruitment post.

What changes when console crossplay arrives

Ubisoft has announced crossplay between PC and consoles for November 2026. When it launches, every player moves to the crossplay environment, crossplay is on by default, and you can turn it off from the Character Selection screen — with it off, you only meet players on your own platform.

Clans migrate too. Agents on different platforms will be able to join the same clan, and the cap doubles from fifty to one hundred members. Leaderboards reset at the same time.

If you are choosing a clan now, that is worth a question: does the clan intend to open up to other platforms, and will it use the extra fifty slots? A console clan that has been full for months is about to have room.

Where Division 2 players find clans

The in-game finder at Grace Larson is the quickest way to get into a clan and the only way to get its rewards. It shows you a name, not a schedule, so it works best once you already know which clan you want.

r/TheDivision_LFG and r/DivisionLFG carry clan recruitment posts and classifieds, usually with a Discord link. They are good for seeing many clans quickly and weak at telling you which are still active.

A group here keeps a roster with a platform and timezone, and its sessions have a start time and open slots, so you can see whether a clan actually plays before you commit to it.

The Division 2 Clans — Frequently Asked Questions

How do I join a clan in The Division 2?

Upgrade the Theater Settlement to Stage 3 and recruit Grace Larson, then talk to her at the Base of Operations to find or create a clan. Once she is recruited, you can also open the Clan menu from the pause menu. If you cannot see a clan option yet, that settlement project is the reason.

How many players can be in a Division 2 clan?

Fifty. Ubisoft has announced that the cap rises to one hundred members when cross-platform play launches in November 2026, at the same moment clans are migrated so players on different platforms can join the same one.

Can PC and console players be in the same Division 2 clan?

Not yet. Today only the PC storefronts share a player pool, so a clan is PC-only or tied to one console family. Ubisoft says clans will be migrated to crossplay in November 2026, after which agents from different platforms can join the same clan.

What do you get from being in a clan in The Division 2?

Clan experience, weekly clan caches, and clan cosmetics from taking part in clan activities. Raids add a status reward: when Operation Dark Hours launched, a Clan Room trophy and a Clan Banner icon required every player in the eight-person group to be from the same clan. The bigger benefit is practical — a clan is usually how people fill a raid.

Do I need a clan to do raids in The Division 2?

No, but it is the easiest way to do them on Normal. Raids need up to eight players, and Ubisoft limited raid matchmaking to Discovery difficulty, so a Normal clear means assembling eight people yourself. A clan with a regular raid night, or a posted session with a start time, is how most people get there.
